AP Calculus AB is an advanced placement mathematics course intended to take the place of the first semester of a college course in calculus. Topics covered will include limits, derivatives, applications of derivatives, integration and applications of integration. College credit is given based upon succesfully passing the AP Calculus Test and the policies of the college attended. The AP exam is given in the first week of May.  The results are available in the first week of July.  A graphing calculator is required. A TI 83+ is recommended.
